Privacy Policy

Effective Date: August 16, 2026

1. Who We Are

BizFinder (https://bizfinder.online) is a business discovery and outreach platform that helps users find publicly listed businesses and send professional outreach emails. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why, and how we protect it.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following information:

  • Account information: name, email address, phone number, company name, and website (when provided in settings).
  • Billing information: payment references, plan, amount and currency. Card and bank details are processed directly by our payment providers (Razorpay and PayPal) and are never stored on our servers.
  • Usage data: search queries you run, email send activity, credit usage, and audit events such as sign-ins and account changes.
  • Email metadata: recipient address, subject, body content you compose, and send status, so we can operate the outreach feature, enforce compliance rules, and provide your email history.
  • Technical data: IP address, device and browser information used for security, abuse prevention, and rate limiting.

3. Business Data from Public Sources

Business listings (names, addresses, phone numbers, ratings, and website links) come from third-party public data providers such as Google Places. We display this information as provided and do not verify its accuracy. If a business wants its information corrected or removed at the source, it should contact the data provider directly.

4. Email Content Processing

Every email composed on the platform is processed by an automated server-side safety system before sending. The system applies rule-based checks and automated classification to detect prohibited content (such as illegal activity, fraud, phishing, threats, malware, and spam-like content) and to enforce rate limits and opt-outs. No email content is used to advertise to you, sold, or shared for marketing purposes.

5. Suppression List

We maintain a do-not-contact (suppression) list of recipient addresses that have opted out of emails sent via our platform. When a recipient unsubscribes, their address is stored solely to prevent future outreach and is never used for any other purpose. These entries are retained even if the sending account is deleted, so previous opt-outs continue to be honored.

6. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and operate the platform (search, outreach, billing, credits).
  • Enforce our Acceptable Use Policy and protect recipients from abuse.
  • Detect and prevent fraud, spam, and security incidents.
  • Meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations (for example, invoices and payment records).
  • Improve the reliability and security of the service.

6a. Access & Security Logs

To keep accounts safe and prevent abuse, we record a limited access log entry when you visit a page or perform an authentication action. This information is collected at our server, not through invasive browser fingerprinting.

For visitors who are not signed in, we use a randomly generated visitor and session identifier. We do not attempt to identify you by name, and we do not combine anonymous access logs with personal information unless there is a legitimate, disclosed security reason. Because IP addresses and account identifiers can be linked to an individual, we treat access logs as personal information rather than claiming they are anonymous.

Access logs are protected by encryption in transit, restricted database access, and administrator-only interfaces. Administrator access, exports and deletions of these logs are themselves audited. Retention is configurable by our administrators and logs are deleted or anonymized when the retention period expires, unless they are subject to a legal or security hold. We never sell IP addresses, location information, or other personal information.

  • IP address (captured server-side and not spoofable by the browser).
  • Approximate location derived from the IP address only — country, state/region, city and time zone. This is an estimate and is not your precise physical location. We do not collect GPS/device location unless you explicitly grant permission for a disclosed feature.
  • Date and time of access and last activity timestamp.
  • Device category (desktop, tablet, mobile), operating system, browser name and version, user-agent string and language/locale.
  • Requested page or endpoint, and referring URL where available.
  • Session identifier, random anonymous visitor identifier, and your account ID when you are signed in.
  • Authentication and security events: sign-in success or failure, sign-out, sign-up, password reset, login method (email/password or Google) and a risk status used for review.

7. Data Retention & Account Deletion

You can permanently delete your account from Settings. When you delete your account:

  • Your profile, login, search history, referral data, feedback, and email message content are deleted.
  • Payment and invoice records are retained where required for tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention obligations.
  • Suppression (do-not-contact) entries are retained so recipient opt-outs remain honored.
  • Security and audit logs are retained for a limited period for abuse prevention and legal compliance.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

To exercise any right, contact us at the address below. We respond within a reasonable timeframe.

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion of your personal information (self-serve via account deletion).
  • Export your email history (available as CSV from the Email History page).
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.

9. Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, row-level database security, and server-side validation to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to apply commercially reasonable safeguards.

10. International Data Transfers

Our infrastructure providers may process data in multiple countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
