Data Processing Agreement

Effective Date: August 16, 2026

1. Scope

This Data Processing Agreement applies when you use BizFinder to process personal data of third parties (for example, business contact email addresses you send outreach to).

2. Roles

You (the account holder) are the data controller for the outreach you send and the recipient data you act on. We act as a data processor/service provider, processing data only on your documented instructions through the platform's features.

3. What We Process on Your Behalf

  • Recipient email addresses and the message content you compose.
  • Business listing data retrieved from public sources at your request.
  • Delivery status and compliance events for each send.

4. Our Obligations

  • Process personal data only to provide the service and enforce platform safety rules.
  • Apply appropriate technical and organizational security measures (encryption in transit, access controls, row-level database security).
  • Not sell or use personal data processed on your behalf for advertising.
  • Assist you with data subject requests where reasonably possible (for example, opt-outs are honored automatically via the suppression list).
  • Retain data only as described in our Privacy Policy and delete it when your account is deleted, subject to legal retention requirements.

5. Sub-processors

We use infrastructure and service providers to operate the platform, including cloud hosting and database services, payment providers (Razorpay, PayPal), business data providers (Google Places), and email delivery via your connected Google account. Each is bound by its own data protection commitments.

6. Your Obligations

  • Ensure you have a lawful basis to contact recipients where required by law.
  • Not upload or process special-category or unlawful data through the platform.
  • Honor opt-outs and applicable marketing laws in your jurisdiction.

7. Term & Termination

This agreement applies for as long as you hold an account. On account deletion, data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy's retention section.
